A leading lesson

Leading is not dragging a horse around on the end of a rope. It is so much more than that. It is a system of communication, a bargain creating a relationship in which each knows their place. Where one becomes the leader and the other the follower, and each does their job. Each holds up their end of the bargain. The rope is just a tool to help each know what the other wants.
