This is Amber, Taffy's grand-dam on her mother's side. Amber is a very interesting horse color wise. She is actually a black horse (all horses are either red or black).

Her bay (black) daughter by a palomino(red) stallion is proof of that. She appears to have Agouti (the gene that changes black to bay) and champagne as well as cream (changes red to gold).
